Dining table comprising two sculptural brass bases with a large three-quarter inch thick glass top with polished edges. A rare and impressive work by New York City artist/artisan Silas Seandel, executed in 1982. Each footed base is a unique free-form sculpture akin to the "Bronzeworks" series of coffee tables, these with a brass finish. In fine original condition, with areas of wear to the nicely patinated bases, consistent with age and use. Signed and dated. The bases themselves measure approximately 24" x 16.5" x H28.25".

Condition

In fine structural condition. The brass bases show wear consistent with age and use, including some losses along edges, and one area of wear along the bottom, see photos. Glass is fine with only minor superficial scratches, also consistent with age and use.
