Set of eight sculptural chairs in walnut--two armchairs and six side chairs--by the Milanese architect Melchiorre Bega. Imported to New York by Erno Fabry, circa 1950s. In fine estate condition; the wood has been cleaned and polished, the joints are firm, and the original vinyl is holding up except for separation at a front seam on two of the chairs (see photo). Reupholstery is recommended, and the set is priced accordingly. With original Fabry labels. The armchair measures 23" in width with an arm height of 24".

Condition
Good. Fine vintage condition to the wood, which has been cleaned, touched up, and polished. The original vinyl upholstery is holding up except for separations at the front edge of two chairs (see photos). Reupholstery is recommended.
