Pair of high-backed Monroe chairs in lacquered beech, designed by architect Arata Isozaki initially for a bank in Japan in 1973. From the front, these chairs resemble the Mackintosh design the are based on, while from most other angles they show the curves of Marilyn Monroe. This pair is part of the ICF Milano production run, dating to, circa 1990. In fine original condition.
