Rare early postwar daybed with birch frame and original webbing and caning. A Clifford Pascoe design for Pascoe Industries, circa 1948. In unusually good original condition, marred only by a few scuffs to the birch and a few small breaks to the machine caning. The caned backrest angles for seating and drops down for sleeping. The mattress needs to be replaced, but is present for sizing; a back cushion can also be added. Mattress measures H 5" x W 78" x D32.5". Seat height with the mattress is 17.5". Condition
Good overall original condition with minor scuffing to the wood and a few small breaks to the machine caning. The mattress needs to be replaced and there is no back cushion.
