Large, square-format, long pile rya rug of Scottish and New Zealand wool. Made by the renowned Danish textile company Unika Vaev, c. 1968. In the style of Verner Panton, who is often credited with the design. The red-purple-blue color way is the most dramatic and dynamic in this design series.

Condition
Good original condition, with minor overall wear consistent with age and use. There is an approximately 2” diagonal loss to one edge, pictured. Two opposing edges are sedged.
