Tall Secessionist coat stand or hall organizer of brass, painted steel, and painted wood. Produced by S.A. Loevy in Berlin, circa 1915. S.A. Loevy was founded in 1885 as a bronze foundry specializing in art casting. The company evolved to produce a range of architectural elements and household items. Designers and architects who had work fabricated at the factory include Henry van de Velde, Bruno Paul, Peter Behrens, Mies van der Rose, Eric Mendelsohn, Walter Gropius, and William Wagenfeld. Measurements of the base include the extended feet.

Condition
 Good vintage condition with areas of wear to the metal, and losses to the paint, consistent with age and use (see photos).
