Boldly curvilinear Lino Sabattinii 18/10 stainless steel flatware, "Instrumenta," a 1978 design for Zani & Zani, Italy. A five piece service for eight 40 pieces total. Featuring handles that are grooved longitudinally underneath and a knife that forms a single arc from the tip of the blade to the handle terminal. Instrumenta is in the permanent collections of the RISD Museum (pictured) and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, among others. Ref: Modern European Cutlery Design 1948-2000: The Bauer Design Collection, Arnoldsche (2002), p. 84. All pieces stamped "Zani Stainless Itay 18-10." Measurement is of the tablespoon. Price is for the set of 40 pieces.
