Sculptural "Moon Box" of 24-karat gold gilded, polychromed, and blackened steel. With a small box attached to the top shelf inside. A new work by Des Moines, Iowa artist James Bearden. Bearden's work was recently featured in a solo exhibition at the NY Design Centre titled "James Bearden: Life in Steel;" in an article in the January Interior Design Magazine; in an Introspective feature on 1stdibs; and in a feature article in DSM Magazine, a Des Moines publication.
