Hand Tufted MidCentury Rug (SOLD)

2,800.00

United States
circa 1960s

Hand-tufted wool rug with an abstract design featuring bright colors on a beige and cream background. Attributed to V'Soske, circa 1960. The original owner had it hanging vertically on the wall (see attached picture), fastened with a wooden batten, for its entire existence. In near-mint original condition, the colors still bold and vibrant. A toss-up between V'Soske and Edward Fields as the maker (there were other Fields rugs on site). Well-crafted with a nice combination of color and pattern, either way.

Condition
Excellent. Near mint original condition. No discernible wear; the colors still bold and vibrant. Has been hanging on the wall since its creation.
