1,400.00

$1,400

Austria
circa 1950's

Midcentury fireplace tool set of wrought iron, steel and wood. Includes a poker, tongs, brush, and shovel. Interesting modernist composition, especially the shape of the tongs and the angled brush. Made in Austria, circa 1950s. Retains paper label. The bottom pan removes for cleaning. Overall good condition, especially the frame and the wooden handles, but oxidation and wear throughout, most noticeably to the shovel (see photos).

Condition
Good. Fine overall structural condition with obvious wear to the tools themselves, especially the shovel, which shows oxidation and loss of paint (see photos). The frame and the wooden handles are in fine condition.
