Pair of Habitat Outdoor Sconces SOLD)

1,600.00

United States
circa 1970s

Pair of metal sconces or wall lights with Lumacryl (acrylic) globes. Made by Habitat, and presumably designed by Paul Mayen, circa 1970s. The attached backplates have four holes in the corners for bolts. With "Habitat Inc. NYC" embossed in the metal. Designed for outdoor use, but obviously could be deployed indoors. In good original condition, with some wear to the metal and some spotting to the tops of the globes, both from age and use. Wiring is original. Price is for the pair. The globes measure 12" in diameter.

Condition
Good. Good original condition. Wear to the metal consistent with age and use. The Lumacryl globes are structurally fine; both have a small spot at the top from the heat of the bulb (see pictures).
