Flexible gooseneck table lamp with a spun aluminum reflector, satin chrome gooseneck, and cast aluminum base, designed by Harry Handler for General Lighting Co, produced circa 1947. An early postwar modernist lighting design that made its way into the design literature and was featured in a 1946 Useful Objects exhibition at MoMA. Rewired. Ref: Interiors, May 1947 (pictured). Measurements as pictured in lead image.
