Prototype Henry Glass Folding Chair USA c. 1970's Prototype folding chair by Cleveland designer Henry Glass. The production version of this, called the "Cricket," was made of thin tubular aluminum by Brown-Jordan beginning in the late 1970's. It became one of Glass' most successful designs. Glass experimented throughout his career with folding, knock-down, and stacking ideas. The present selection is from the the designer's collection.
