Organic Design Edward Wormley Lounge USA 1950 Superb and extremely rare Edward Wormley design for Dunbar produced in 1950 as Catalog #4878-S. This is Wormley's take on an ergonomic, contoured, and biomorphic chair. The design reflects Wormley's innate sense of elegance, proportion, and rhythm, and features a swooping rear leg of 11-layered laminated walnut and maple. The tapered top made a visual improvement on the original 1948 design. which was squared off for unit seating. A sculptural and museum-quality piece, with original fabric.
