French Art Deco Cabinet in Macassar Ebony

Cabinet of boldly figured macassar ebony with stepped zinc pulls and escutcheons, made in France circa 1930 for Maison Soubrier. In the Art Deco manner of Dominique. Soubrier, founded in 1852, was and is a Parisian purveyor of antiques and fine period reproductions. Between 1920-1940, Soubrier produced furniture in the prevailing Art Deco style. The present cabinet has four drawers flanked by two keyed compartments with adjustable shelves. The drawers can be locked via a sliding mechanism inside the right compartment.

Condition
Good. The case has been cleaned and French-polished and is in fine condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The right door has a slight bow at the bottom (see pictures)
