One-volume survey of "Austrian Applied Arts", primarily Secession, with an introduction by Josef Hoffmann. Published in 1930 by Heinz & Co. Organized by type-ceramics, metal, textiles, furniture, glass, lighting, graphics, etc.-and lavishly illustrated in black and white color. Features work by a who's who of the Wiener Werkstätte including Michael Powolny, Lucie Rie-Gomperz, Vally Wieselthier, Josef Hoffmann, Alfred Soulek, and Karl Hagenauer, along with a host of lesser-known figures. A small volume but packed with visual information. Scarce. In a protective mylar cover.

Condition
Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some wear to the cloth boards and gilt lettering (see photos).
