Large hand-painted Majolica relief plaque depicting wine making, by Sicilian ceramist Giovanni De Simone, executed, circa 1960s. A superb example of this maker's work, with vividly colored and highly stylized figures set in a Mediterranean landscape. Signed on the lower edge.

Excellent. Fine vintage condition with a few small edge chips, typical for Majolica, now touched in.
