Poster from a 1971 exhibition featuring Surrealist works by Meret Oppenheim and Alfred Hofkunst at the Galerie Martin Krebs in Bern, Switzerland. Pictured are Oppenheim's best-known work, "Object (Luncheon in Fur)" from 1936, along with Hofkunst's "Flies Buzzing around a Lightbulb" circa 1969. The Krebs gallery opened in 1968, showcasing Swiss modernist art but also showing Pop staples like Warhol and Lichtenstein. Both Oppenheim and Hofkunst were Swiss residents at the time; Bern was Oppenheim's home base. An uncommon item.
