Victor Vasarely Op Art molded porcelain wall sculpture titled "Laika" featuring black and white ovals that are raised (top and center) or indented. Produced in an edition of 50 in 1964 by Rosenthal Studio Line for documenta-Foundation Kassel. Mounted on a black-painted wooden board. The Rosenthal Studio Line marks are visible (pictured) but the signed and numbered paper label is not visible and presumed missing. The measurements include the wooden mount. The relief itself, which has a free edge all around, measures approximately 18.5" H x 15.25" W x 1.25" D.

Condition
Excellent. The porcelain relief is in excellent original condition with only very minor wear and rubbing consistent with age and use. The wooden mount shows areas of wear and some losses to the paint also consistent with age.
