Brutalist sculpture of cut, fused, and assembled metal on wooden base by New England artist Homer Gunn (1919-2001). Gunn studied at RISD from 1938-41, then at the Art Students League of New York. He later taught at Deerfield Academy. His public commissions include the War Memorial in Greenfield, MA, and sculptures for the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood where, notably, the bandshell was an early Eero Saarinen project. Embossed signature underneath.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The wooden base shows wear consistent with age.
