David Roth "Archetypes" Set of Nine Screenprints (SOLD)

Original portfolio of nine screenprints published by Aries in 1968 in an edition of 25, of which this is number 25.  Each print is numbered and signed; each measures 30" x 22".  Roth (b. 1942) graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology's Institute of Design, where he studied with Harry Callahan, Aaron Siskind, Misc Kohn, and Richard Koppe.  He was represented by New York's Robert Elkon Gallery in the 1960's and 1970's and his work is in numerous museums, including the Philadelphis Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Albright-Knox Museum.  Price is for the complete set of nine.  Measurements below as pictured.  Each print is framed in black metal under glass.

Condition
Fine original condition to the prints with only minor wear consistent with age.
Glass has one small flake along one edge of one print, otherwise fine.
