Brutalist sculpture of cut, welded and patinated metal and tubular metal by Buffalo, NY artist Paul Anthony Tarantino (1927-2014). A sculptor and educator, Tarantino studied at Carnegie Mellon and Cranbrook, going on to teach basic design and metalsmithing at Syracuse, Buffalo State and RIT. His own work ranged in scale from architectural elements to jewelry and included silverware and jewelry designs for Georg Jensen. The present work, made circa 1960s, came out of his estate.

Good. Fine original condition with minor wear consistent with age.
