Small but vibrant abstract figural grouping in sterling silver titled "The Exodus" by Yale-educated, Chicago-based artist Abbott Pattison (1916-1999). A hand-cut, welded, and incised work executed circa 1960s. Each side offers a different frontal view of an intertwined group of figures. On its original marble base. Incised signature; remnants of paper museum label underneath. Provenance: New Britain Museum of American Art Study Collection.
